「port」與「harbor」的差別

「port」是「港口」的通稱，要講它是靠海邊的整個大港口都沒問題，而「harbor」是可以讓船隻提供避風浪的港口，相對的「port」也比「harbor」大很多，相對的條件也比「harbor」多很多。

harbour (n.) 港口，港灣 UK (US harbor) - an area of water next to the coast, often protected from the sea by a thick wall, where ships and boats can shelter
