英文「must」的用法

情態助動詞「must」 表示「必須；一定要」，指現在或未來的義務或責任，後面接原形動詞，有以下兩種用法：
must的基本句型：S + must + V...
✅ 表義務性；必要性
We must leave for the train station by 7 a.m.
我們必須在早上 7 點之前前往火車站。
✅ 表示對現在或未來事件的肯定推測（關於推測語氣更多內容可以點我）
Rowena must feel exhausted after staying up late three nights in a row.
連續三天熬夜下來，羅伊娜肯定累壞了
因「must」無形態變化，若要表現時態可用意思相近的＂have to＂來做變化。
Thomas had to walk to school this morning because he missed the bus.
Thomas 今天早上必須走路上學因為他錯過了公車。
形成否定的方式有兩種：
➀ must 後面直接加 not，寫為 must not （縮寫為mustn't），表「強烈的禁止」。
S + must (not) + V...
👉 We must not/mustn't shout or run in the library.
我們絕不能在圖書館裡喊叫或奔跑。
➁ 寫為not have to，表示「不需要…；沒義務…」。
S + does/do/did (not) + have to + V...
👉You didn't have to wake me up this morning.
你今天早上沒必要叫醒我。
