傻傻分不清？used to、be used to、get used to三個片語的差異
在英文文章中看見「used to」是不是讓你很頭痛呢？到底它是在說「過去曾經」還是「現在習慣」？今天小編就一次統整三個大家最容易搞混的「used to片語」，讓大家快速搞懂他們之間的用法差異：
❚ 過去曾經 used to + V...
① 多使用於過去式的情境中，用來表示「過去常做，但現在不再做的事」，或指過去的狀態。
② used to 屬於助動詞用法，故其後接原形動詞。
Max's grandfather used to be an animal doctor.
Max 的祖父曾經是一位獸醫。
I used to live in a small town, but I moved to the city ten years ago.
我以前住在一座小城鎮，但我十年前搬到城市了。
● 若為否定句或疑問句時，使用助動詞 did / didn't ，後方 used to 還原為 use to：
Greta didn't use to like tofu, but now she eats it all the time.
葛瑞塔以前不喜歡豆腐，但她現在時常在吃。
Did Justin really use to teach French? He doesn't seem to speak the language well.
賈斯汀以前真的有教過法語嗎？他好像法語說得不太流利。
❚ 習慣某事；適應某事 beV used to + N/V-ing...
① used為過去分詞p.p.當形容詞用，而to為介系詞，因此後面須接名詞或動名詞。
Kelly is used to riding the bus every day.
Kelly 習慣每天搭公車。
❚ 變得習慣 / 適應某事 get used to + N/V-ing...
① 相似於「be used to 」，差異在於get used to...更強調「從不習慣轉為習慣」
We will get used to eating this strange new food soon.
我們很快會習慣吃這個新奇的食物。
