英文語句的常見文法：介系詞片語後位修飾
介系詞片語是由「介系詞接名詞或代名詞」，兩個或兩個以上字詞所組成，常放在名詞後面，作為形容詞或副詞來修飾前方的名詞或動作。以下介紹常見的用法：
✒ 用來表示「位置」：
The children are playing at the park.
孩子們在公園玩耍。
The eggs in this box are for Kevin.
這個箱子裡的蛋是給 Kevin 的。
✒ 用來表示「時間」：
The movie will begin in ten minutes.
這部電影在十分鐘內會開始播映。
The meeting at 2 p.m. was boring.
剛剛 2 點的那場會議好無聊。
If we start driving now, we should be in Kaohsiung by dinner time.
我們現在就出發的話，應該在晚餐時間左右就會抵達高雄。
✒ 用來表示「如何、狀態」：
The woman ran away in terror when she saw a cockroach.
那名女子看到蟑螂時很驚恐地跑走了。
Selina yelled at her brother in anger because he stepped on her art homework.

✒ 表「有關」：about + 內容
This book about India's most beautiful places is interesting.
這本有關印度最美的地方的書很有趣。
✒ 表「年齡範圍」：over/under + 年紀
Kids under six don't need to buy tickets to enter this park.
6歲以下的孩童不須購票就能進入本園區。
✒ 表「附帶狀態或條件」：with + 事物
That woman with short hair wants to buy a new shirt.
那為短髮女子想要買一件新的襯衫。
