一倍、兩倍、三倍，英文「倍數」表達會不會
有數字的地方就有比較，小時候比零用錢，長大比薪水😂那我們常說的「多我一倍」這樣的『倍數英文』你知道怎麼說嗎？今天空美懶人包直接整理3種用法給大家：
⌑ 倍數的表達方式
half 一半
twice / two times 兩倍
three times 三倍
four times 四倍
（三倍以上用「數字+times」表達）
表達「倍數」的句型說法
句型 ① ：倍數 + as 形容詞 / 副詞 as
例句：
The blue pen is half as long as the red pen.
這隻藍筆是那隻紅筆的一半長。
My new house is three times as big as the old one.
新房子比舊房子大了3倍。
* 若要更強調某物品數量上的倍數，可以換成名詞：倍數 + as many 可數名詞 / much 不可數名詞 +as
They are twice as many rooms as in my old house.
新房子的房間數目是舊房子的兩倍。
句型② ：A + V + 倍數 + 形容詞比較級 / more (+N.)+ + than + B
倍數比較級通常用在比較兩者之間有幾倍之差，亦即「A比B...幾倍」，要注意 half 和 twice不適用於此句型，以下例句：
The large size coffee has two times more coffee than the small size.
大杯的咖啡比小杯的大兩倍。
My new house is three times bigger than the old one.
新房子比舊房子大了3倍。
The population of South Korea is about two times larger than the population of Taiwan.
南韓人口大約是臺灣人口的兩倍。
This computer can run tasks three times more quickly than last year's model.
這臺電腦的作業處理速度是去年同型的三倍快。
句型 ③：倍數 + the + 單位名詞 of...
例句：
Michael cut the pizza into two pieces. One was three times the size of the other.
麥可把這塊披薩切成兩份，其中一份是另一份的三倍大。
The new speakers are twice the size of the old ones.
這些新喇叭的尺寸是舊喇叭的兩倍大。
!!! the + N + of… 也可改寫為所有格的形式：one's + N，承上一句，可改成：
Michael cut the pizza into two pieces. One was three times the the other's size.
Rwanda is more diverse than countries that are many times its size.
盧安達比大上它數倍的國家更具多樣性。
