不混淆，「冷靜」跟「冷卻」英文片語怎麼說？
炎熱的夏天，大家都想來沁涼一下，「冷卻；變涼」可以用「cool sb/sth down」這個片語喔！
cool sb/sth down (phr.) （使）冷卻；（使）變涼
👉 Having a cold drink is the best way to cool down/off in summer.
夏天最棒的消暑方式就是喝一杯冰涼的飲料。
👉 Kelly found the coffee too hot and set it aside to cool down/off before she could drink it.
凱莉覺得咖啡太燙了，所以她把它放在一旁冷卻後再喝。
cool (sb) down/off（使）…冷靜下來；（使）…平靜下來
👉 Leave her to cool off and then talk to her.
讓她一個人冷靜冷靜，然後再跟她談。
