你曾冷不防被出賣過嗎？內心是否就像突然被丟到公車下面一樣傻眼、荒唐呢？沒錯~英文慣用語「throw sb under the bus」就是形容「犧牲某人以從中圖利」的意思：
 

例句：

Eddie made huge mistakes on his report, and when his boss asked how they happened, he threw his secretary under the bus.
