「stand by」可以是「冷眼旁觀」也可以是「支持、相挺」？
片語「stand by sb」字面上為站在某人旁邊，引申之意為「支持、挺某人」；但如果stand by 後面沒有接對象，只是單純地站在旁邊，則有「袖手旁觀」的涵義，是兩種完全相反的用法喔！來看例句：
