英文俚語「ten to one」絕不是從 10 數到 1 的意思！

當一件事情發生的機率很高時，英文可以用「ten to one」表示！此英文俚語最初來自賭注中的賠率概念，意味著 10 比 1 的賠率──表示某事件發生的可能性是不發生的 10 倍。後來被引申為「很有可能」、「十之八九」的意思。
