過年前夕，家家戶戶都會進行大掃除（spring cleaning），建立新年新氣象~期許迎來好運到~今天的英文教學就要和大家分享幾個與「打掃」有關的單字和片語：
clean (v.) 打掃；清潔
片語用法：clean up 清理（去除髒污）
例句：
Anne likes her house to be completely spotless, so she cleans a few times a week.
安喜歡她的房子一塵不染，所以她一星期打掃好幾次。
Before Chinese New Year, the family worked their way through the house and cleaned every room.
春節來臨之前，這家子在屋內緩慢地清理每個房間。
We should clean behind the TV. There's a lot of dust there.
我們應該把電視後方清理一下，那裡有很多灰塵。
Susan wanted Henry to clean up his nose hair, so she just told him directly.

sweep (v.) 清掃；打掃

wipe (v.) 擦拭；抹去
片語用法：wipe off 擦掉；抹掉
例句：
After you've finished eating dinner, make sure you wipe the table. I don't want it to be dirty!

As a courtesy, please wipe off the exercise machines with alcohol and a towel when you finish using them.

mop (n.) 拖把 (v.) 用拖把拖洗
片語用法：mop up 擦去（液體）
例句：
