「分詞構句」簡單3步驟教你英文寫作精簡流暢的技巧
中文寫作要避免「冗詞」，英文也是如此，而英文寫作✍的手法中可以透過『分詞構句』來達到精簡句子的目的！那廢話不多說跟著以下三步驟就可以學會囉：

由連接詞（如：and）所連接的兩個子句，當前後兩句主詞相同時，為了使句子精簡，可以省略第二個子句的主詞，而它身後的動詞分成兩種情況來變化 (1)主動語態→現在分詞 (2)被動語態→過去分詞
分詞構句SOP三步驟：
❶ 先去掉連接詞
❷ 再去掉第二個子句中的主詞
❸ 最後將動詞改為主動的現在分詞或被動的過去分詞
Damien opened his closet, and he looked for his dark gray sweater.
⇨ Damien opened his closet, looking for his dark gray sweater.
達米安打開衣櫃找他的深灰色毛衣。
Frances is running across the street to her office, and she is soaked by the pouring rain.
⇨ Frances is running across the street to her office, soaked by the pouring rain.
法蘭西斯全身被大雨浸濕，正跑往辦公室的路上。
