同樣表「必須」的英文：have to、need to、must
英文中表達「必須」，常見說法有3種，按語氣強弱為：must >have to >need to，今天就來介紹它們之間有哪些差異吧！
❚ have to +V
① 可用於某事帶有「緊急性」而必須做。
② 或表示「客觀」的事實，例如：是規定、規範要求的。
I have to finish my homework before I can play computer games.
我必須寫完作業才能打電玩。
You have to go to bed now, or you'll have trouble getting up tomorrow.
你現在就得睡覺了，不然明天會起不來。
否定用法：助動詞 + not + have to
We don't have to worry about our grades because it was an easy test.
我們不用擔心我們的成績，因為考試很簡單。
People don't have to bring their own cups to drink stores. It's better to do so, though.
顧客不須帶自己的杯子去買飲料，不過帶的話是比較好。
❚ need to +V
因「個人利益或考量」而必須、一定要去做某事。
We need to get to the train station by 10 a.m.
我們必須在早上10點以前到達火車站。
I need to take out the garbage today. It smells bad!
我今天一定要倒垃圾，好臭。
否定用法：助動詞 + not + need to
We don't need to go to school today because it is a holiday.
我們今天不需要去學校，因為今天是假日。
❚ must +V
常用來表達「主觀」的必須，如強烈建議做某事。或現在或未來的義務或責任
You must go and see that movie. It is really amazing!
你應該去看那部電影。真的太棒了！
否定用法：must + not + V 用來表示「強烈禁止」
We must not/ mustn't shout or run in the library.
我們絕不能在圖書館裡喊叫或奔跑。
You mustn't eat on the MRT, or you’ll get in trouble.
你在捷運上不能吃東西，不然會惹上麻煩。
