英文單字「though」是一個超好用的語氣轉折詞，有「雖然；但是；儘管」的意思，可以作連接詞及副詞使用，以下用法例句：
(conj.) 雖然；儘管（連接兩個子句，可與although互換）
Though it was really cold, I still went jogging this morning.
雖然天氣非常冷，我今天早上還是去跑步了。
(adv.) 然而；不過
＊常置於句尾，前面必須加上逗號。
It's time for dinner! I'm not hungry, though.
晚餐時間到了！不過我還不餓。
(phr.) as though 好像（=like）
It looked as though it was going to rain.
= It looked like it was going to rain.
