英文句型「so…that…」、「such…that…」的用法？差異在哪呢？

今天要介紹英文句型『so...that.../ such...that...』兩者都是用來表達『如此……以致於……』，不過在文法使用上不一樣喔～來看下列例句：

🔰 so…that…：so在此句型為副詞，後面會接形容詞或副詞，而that用來引導表示結果的副詞子句

👉The teacher spoke so slowly that all the students fell asleep.

老師講課太慢以致於全班學生都睡著了。

👉The bag is so heavy that I can't lift it.

這個包包太重我拿不動

🔰 such…that…：such的後面要接名詞

👉The new machines caused such problems that the company had to stop us using them.

這些新機器造成了問題，公司不得不停止使用它們。

👉Luke has such a big car that it's hard for him to park it anywhere.

路克的車很大台，到哪裡都很難停車。

‼可通用的情況‼

當such後面的名詞片語中若有形容詞，且是可數單數名詞時，就可以和「so…that…」句型替換：

👉Luke has such a big car that it's hard for him to park it anywhere.

= Luke has so big a car that it's hard for him to park it anywhere.
