表達「否定」意思的英文字首：dis、un、in、non

in- 置於名詞或形容詞前，表「非…；不…；無…」
inexpensive 不貴的、incorrect 不正確的、invisible 隱形的
The night market is a great place to find interesting and inexpensive food.
夜市是一個可以找到有趣而且便宜食物的好地方。
dis- 置於名詞、動詞或形容詞前，表示「否定或相反」的字詞
dishonest 不誠實的、dislike 不喜歡、disagree 不同意、discover 發現、disappear 消失
Jerry was being dishonest when he said he didn't take the cookie. He felt bad about it.
當 Jerry 說他沒有拿餅乾的時候，他並不誠實。他對此感到懊悔。
un- 置於動詞、副詞或形容詞前，表示「不…」
untrue 不真實的、uncomfortable 不安的；不自在的、unclear 不清楚的
Fred was unclear about the homework, so he asked his teacher to explain it.
Fred 不太清楚作業的內容，所以他請老師解釋一下。
non-多置於名詞與形容詞前，表「非…；不…；無…」
non-government 非政府的、non-smoking 禁煙的、nonsense 胡扯
The area around the station is non-smoking. There's a smoking area down the street.
這個車站附近的區域是禁菸的。這條街上有吸菸區。
