表否定的「without」用法

英文表達「沒有」時，除了可以加上否定詞「not」表達外，還可以用「without」，與not不同的是without為介係詞，本身帶否定語氣，用法看這：
1 without + N 作形容詞片語時用來修飾前面的名詞。
Bob is the only student without a partner for the English project.
鮑伯是唯一一位英文課作業沒有搭檔的學生。
I prefer my taro milk without any added sugar or ice.
我比較喜歡芋頭牛奶不另加任何糖和冰塊。
2 without + N/V-ing 作副詞片語時用來修飾前面的動詞，
I heard Annie climbed a tall mountain without stopping to rest.
我聽說安妮沒有停下來休息，一口氣爬上了那座高山。
Some students arrived to class without their textbooks.
有些學生沒帶課本就來上課了。
