惱人的英文「複數不定代名詞」一次幫你突破盲點！
先前和大家介紹過「不定代名詞one/ another/ the other」（延伸閱讀點這），用來指單數的「有一個…，另一個…」，但這樣不夠用啊～要指群體的、多種類的人或事物時怎麼辦？所以今天要來介紹『複數不定代名詞』，分為限定用法和不限定用法兩種使用情況：
範圍不限定用法
① some… others… 用於沒有特定範圍的人或物，指「一些…，另一些…」，其中 others等同於「other+複數名詞」。
② 若想指三類以上時，則可以用 some…others… still others…句型表示

The MRT is full of passengers this morning; some are looking at their phones, others are sleeping, and still others are starting out the window.

範圍限定用法
① some of … the others… 用於特定範圍的人或物，指「其中一些…，其餘…」，其中the others 等同於the rest，指的是特定範圍中剩餘的部分。

我的奶奶養了五隻貓。其中有幾隻很友善，但其餘的都不喜歡陌生人。
There's a group of students at the zoo today. Some of them look excited, others seem bored, and the others are taking pictures with their phones.
今天在動物園有一群學生。其中一些同學看起來很興奮，有些看起來很無聊，而剩下的都在用手機拍照。
