TOEIC多益專欄：常考單字 machine
準備TOEIC詞彙時，最好連字彙的同義詞(synonyms)和反義詞(antonyms)都要整理起來，運用考試策略時都是相當實用的資源
我們知道machine的意思是【機器】，如以下例句：
💬 Howie decided to invent the machine to make his job easier, though it took a long time to get it right.
（Howie 決定要發明一款機器讓他的工作輕鬆點，雖然研發過程會花一段時間 。）
除了 machine 以外還有其他單詞可以表示【機器】嗎？
這些單詞之間又有什麼不同呢？
(1) machinery [məˋʃinərɪ] ➡ 機器、機械 🧨 為集合名詞，不可數
💬 The machinery in this factory can produce 6,000 paper clips every minute.
（工廠的這具機器每分鐘可以生產6000個迴紋針。）
(2) mechanism 🧨 注意重音 [ˋmɛkə͵nɪzəm] ➡ 機械裝置
💬 Wendy took the printer apart to see if there were any problems with the mechanisms inside.
（Wendy 拆開印表機檢查裡面的裝置是不是有異常。）
(3) mechanic [məˋkænɪk] ➡ 技工、機械工人
💬 The mechanic changed the oil in my car and checked that the engine was working properly.
（技術人員換了汽車的機油並檢查引擎是否正常運作。）
